Profile

Helen Uphill

Systems Engineer

Helen Uphill

Bio

Helen studied electrical and electronic engineering at Flinders and works as a Systems Engineer at Daronmont Techologies. She was good at maths and science in high school but also enjoyed the more artistic, creative subjects too.  She wasn’t sure what she really wanted to do when she went to uni but just kept studying and not stressing about her future.  She even did a year in retail enjoying a different environment from uni entirely.  She knew eventually something would come up.  And it did!  One of her lecturers recommended her to Daronmont Technology which launched Helen into working with defence IT systems, including surveillance equipment.  She has a very responsible job and loves it.  Helen likes the fact that she is in a secure job that also encourages her to grow and learn.
