my reason for contest application

my name is chris macneill i am a current yr 10 student at eastern fleurieu scool in strathalbyn my reason for applying for the BAE systems visit is to see what it like behind the scenes of australia's leading defence technology firm. This visit to BAE systems would provide me with in depth views on the amount of work and effort put into designing and building defence force vehicles equipment. i find this really fasinating seeing how technology is continuously advanceing. in the near future i would like a career in the defence force or civilian force providing for the defence force hopefully talking to fully qulified people that work for BAE systems can help me and giv me a few pointers on career oppertunites in BAE systems.

i hope my application will be a good read. winning this trip would be the best thing to happen to me i have never won a competion before so please consider my application.

I would like to go and visit a workplace like BAE systems because i am interested in pursuing a career in the defence force. I think that BAE systems will be able to give me the insight of what the defence force is about and how a company like BAE systems impacts Australia's defence. After i complete school, i want to join the Air Force and pursue a career in Aviation. The opportunity to visit BAE systems will inspire me to continue to keep up the work that i am doing at school to achieve to the best of my ability.

Hi, my name is David and i'm 16 years old.

I currently attend the Australian Science and Mathematics school.
The career that I am pursuing is to become a Mechanical, Civil or Archetectual Engineer. I love working things out and finding ways to make things work better.

I plan to apply for the Undergraduate sponsorship that the Army is offering when I go to university, and when I turn 17, to apply for the Army reserves. I really enjoy what the Army stands for and what it has to offer.

I would love to go to this workplace visit that is on offer as it would benefit me substantially as I am basing my future around it and need to get a feel of what it is like.
