My Study

'I want to study something I'm interested in.
What are my options?'

Okay, so you're getting ready to choose the subjects that will be
part of your South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE)
qualification and at the same time, maybe thinking about doing
an apprenticeship, going to uni or starting a VET program.

Now's the time to balance what you're interested in, what you're
good at
and the subjects that will either lead to your dream job
or, if you've not decided, give you the widest choice possible.

Different decisions can lead you onto different paths and with so
many to choose for your future, you need to figure out what's
best for you.

How do I choose my study?
Good question!  Fortunately, we have an answer.  If you've
already got a good idea of your dream job or ambitions for a career,
you can start to find out what you need to study at school, what
courses you may need to do and what marks you need to get into
those courses.

If you've worked on your interests, skills, and values and still don't
have a clear idea about your future, that's ok, because it's not an
easy decision.  Instead, remember it's good to think about how
subjects like maths and science, will give you the widest range of
choices. Keeping your options open is one of the best things you
can do. It means when you have a clearer idea, you'll be in the best
position to pursue your dreams.

Either way, it's a good idea to think about:
